CircuitRunners is a robotics club at Wheeler High School in Marietta, GA. Founded in 2002 by a group of enthusiastic students, today it is a now a hundred plus member club that actively participates in four robotic competitions: BEST, FTC, GRITS and FRC.
The CircuitRunners family is exceptionally diverse. Males and females participate in strong populations and racial profiles are represented equally. Members not only participate in robotics but are actively involved in athletics, other clubs, and other community organizations. We believe in uniting different people to form a diverse union of a club and team. Every member has a part to the CircuitRunner family.
Many corporations sponsor the CircuitRunner team, aiding in the advancement of science, engineering, and technology. Sponsors include: GE, Cobb EMC, Atlantis Waterjet, Lockheed Martin and other businesses. Great thanks is given to our wonderful sponsors.
CircuitRunners does not only concentrate on robotics, but strives to educate the community and world about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). To achieve this, the club supports an outreach section, completely devoted to education and sparking interest in robotics and engineering. Here at CircuitRunners, we move from potential to kinetic.
